SHERIFF'S ACTIVITIES LEAGUE OF SARASOTA COUNTY, INC.
saddles
Saddles is a collaborative effort between SAL and the Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol Unit, which culminates with a riding experience at Rosaire's Riding Academy in Sarasota, and/or Bit of Hope Ranch in Englewood.
sal activities
SAL programs operate after school in various locations throughout Sarasota County. The 8 students selected at each location are offered a unique opportunity to spend time with deputies from the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office while enjoying a variety of activities...and having fun!
sal fishing
Each year we host an Annual Fishing Tournament benefiting the Sheriff's Activities League. A HUGE thank you to event organizer Dep. Mike Watson, the first responders (both active and retired), donors, sponsors and community members who made this event possible! Because of you, we are able to take dozens of Sarasota County kids out on the water for an experience they will never forget.
SCSO EXPLORERS
Members of the SCSO Explorers program frequently participate in pistol competitions hosted by the Florida Sheriff's Explorers Association (FSEA). Our competitors are highly decorated, and often take home the first place team trophy! Many thanks to the Sarasota High Noon Gun Range, and the NRA Foundation for providing our team with much appreciated resources, THANK YOU!!!
